We have sold more than 16,000 language teaching solutions in over 100 countries, and each week more than 6 million people learn in our language labs. Our virtual teaching solution, SANAKO Lounge 100 was voted the Best New Education Solution by the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA). Based in Turku, Finland, SANAKO Corporation has its roots in 1961 when the first Tandberg language lab was delivered. In 1984 Teleste acquired the Norwegian company Tandberg Educational and in 2001, Divace Oy was formed through a MBO from Teleste Educational. The company operated as Divace Oy until September 2003, when the name was changed to SANAKO. The company is privately held, employs roughly 80 and the estimated turnover for 2005 is EUR 12M€. |
