Island Global Commodities started as exporter of swetinia macrophylla (king mahogany) and acacia mangium lumber to china since 2007. it has recently ventured on baled pet and pet flakes for the local market but is now establishing market abroad. It has also locked a supply contract of rattan poles (polished) and rattan handycraft to haydarpasa, istanbul, turkey and is awaiting progress in the muslim market though a bit slow because of the upcoming ramadan.
