Electrochemical process for the treatment of water/sludge polluted with oil derivatives

This novelty is a chemical free, vast energy saving process. Efficiently treating the water from sludge and oil derivatives to obtain industrial water. The contaminated water (sludge) is kept at 0,5 mg/ltr border line after treatment. This means, the technology provides 5 mg/litre oil free contamination, what is the requirement of the EU. The oily emulsion is dissolved in an electrochemical reactor. The colloids are completely precipitated and not filtered. The most contaminated water is cleaned with 2kW energy. (1000 litre) Opposed to other processes there will be no oily sludge and hazardous waste remains.
