Hulshof Royal Dutch Tannery was founded in 1876. The company is one of the largest European producers of high quality upholstery leather, processing many thousands of hides every week.

Our policy is to use only first choice bull and calf hides. Royal Dutch Hulshof hides are never treated with (highly damaging) salt, as is common in many tanneries around the world. Eliminating the salting process means the leather is better and softer with a lot less damage to the environment.
